October Events on Anna Maria

This month is all about Halloween, but there is plenty to do on Anna Maria Island if you want to do something that doesn’t involve wearing a costume. Or maybe you do. Here are 5 October Events to enjoy for both parents and kids.

Bayfest

Anna Maria Island’s longest-running festival is back with live music, art vendors, food, and fun. Main events include a classic car show from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. on October 21. Admission is free.

Mainly Art

Every third Saturday of the month, visit this display of local artistic talents and crafts on Fourth Avenue West. This group of vendors connects to the Bradenton Farmers Market on Main Street, so you have plenty of reasons to get out of bed on Saturday, Oct. 21 from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.

A Little Night Music

Catch a concert at the Manatee Performing Arts Center from Oct. 26th – November 12 for romantic music.

Spirit Voices from Old Manatee

This is a favorite Halloween event that explains more about the area’s past with theatrical flair staged at Manatee Village. This fundraiser goes to help historical preservation. Purchase your tickets for the following performances: October 19, 20, 21, 22. Gates Open at 6:30 p.m., the show starts at 7 p.m.

Trail of Treats

Get in your costumes and meet us at the Trail of Treats hosted by the Chamber of Commerce. Check-in at the chamber at 3:30 p.m. for the costume contest (kids 0 – 12) and trick or treating at participating businesses around the island. It ends at 8:00 p.m.
