Anna Maria Island’s Beach N’ Food Truck and Music Festival is a 12-hour beach celebration that draws visitors from all over the state and beyond.
This family-friendly festival is the ultimate beach party, with food, music, arts and crafts, and kids’ activities. The annual festival is a much-awaited spring event, a favorite among both locals and visitors.
If eating a hot meal out of a food truck while listening to local tunes is the perfect way to spend a Saturday, you won’t want to miss the Beach N’ Food Truck Festival this April 14th from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Coquina Beach.
About the Festival
This community event takes place along beautiful Coquina Beach visitors can choose from about 20 different food trucks with a variety of dishes, both local and international. Some are permanent local food trucks, while others are “pop-up” versions of local restaurants and cafes.
A stage is set up in this area where a number of local bands and musicians perform throughout the day. There are picnic tables scattered around the area, giving guests a chance to grab their favorite eats and reconvene at a communal table, while listening to upbeat melodies and the strum of a guitar.
At the bottom of Gulf Drive, younger visitors can enjoy bounce houses and other activities for children at the Kids’ Zone. The festival will also host an arts and crafts fair, which will include artisans selling jewelry, beachy watercolors, one-of-a-kind gifts, and other souvenirs.
Finally, guests can see the impressive Bill Mergens Memorial Car Show. About 100 classic, exotic, vintage, muscle, and antique vehicles will line the area from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Food & Drink
The event will feature more than 20 food trucks. Though the official line-up is not revealed until much closer to the event, previous years have seen burritos, tacos, the ever-popular food “bowls,” crispy French fries, and, of course, burgers – both classic and topped with trendy ingredients like avocado.
Guests can also find classic tropical cocktails, such as rum runners and margaritas, a wine bar, and buckets of ice-cold beer.

The Beach N’ Food Truck and Music Festival is a one-day event held on April 14 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. The event will carry on throughout the entire day – rain or shine – with music performances, beach activities, and tables set up for convenience.
The official address is 2650 Gulf Dr., Bradenton Beach, and food trucks will be lined up all along Coquina Beach so it will be easy to spot. Gulf Drive is expected to light up with special shop discounts, bounce houses, and other kids’ activities.

Parking, Pricing, and Other Details
While there are designated public parking areas, walking or biking from Anna Maria Island vacation rentals will save you a ton of stress.
Coquina Beach has a public parking lot, but it fills up very quickly during this kind of event. There is another parking lot at Coquina Gulfside Park, and it is open (and free!) from sunrise to midnight.
The trolley will be open throughout the event to carry visitors from nearby Anna Maria Island vacation rentals to Coquina Beach. The trolley is free, allows bikes, and stops at both Coquina Beach and Coquina Gulfside Park.
